Booking information. How to book a Motorhome or Camper.
High Season = May, June, July, August
Mid Season = March, April, September, October
Low Season = January, February, November, December
Availability: Our motorhomes do get booked up very quickly. To avoid disappointment, please put a deposit on your booking as soon as possible.
Weekend hires: For weekly hire, the normal changeover is at the weekend. Weekend hires make this difficult, so many of our owners don't accept weekend hires except in Low Season. However please ask - particularly if you are booking at short notice. Weekends are usually charged as 7 days hire, but the insurance cost is calculated on the actual number of days used.
Insurance: The prices quoted show a standard £20 per day insurance charge for motorhomes under 3.5 ton, or £26 per day for motorhomes over 3.5 ton. However, there may be extra charges as estimated below. For longer bookings (over 7 days) there is a discount.
3 points on your Licence...........£6 extra per day for every 3 points
Overseas Licence holder........... £6 extra per day
Minimum age of driver 21..........£10 extra per day, between 21 / 25
Maximum age of driver 75......... £5 extra per day, between 70 / 75
Extra driver each, max 3............£5 extra per day
European touring......................£7 extra per day
8th day onwards.......................£3 less per day (under 3.5 ton) or £4 less (over 3.5 ton)

This insurance cover will not cover you for personal belongings, so we recommend you take out separate holiday/travel insurance.
The insurance cover starts at midday, and ends at 11.30 am.
Booking procedure
If you accept our quotation for the hire, we will process the booking as follows:- We will need the following from you, by email if possible:
- Your Name,
- Address,
- Phone numbers,
- Confirmed dates,
- How much is being sent as a deposit,
- How many are in your party,
- Your destination
- & the D.O.B of the driver.
When we have this information, you will be sent a confirmation email with the booking number, the confirmed dates, costs, and the name and address of the member whose van you are hiring. If any of this is incorrect you must tell us immediately.
Also within this email is a reservation form, which must be filled out sent direct to the member together with your deposit. Our member will have your contact details and will make contact with you within 12 hours of the e-mail being sent, but please feel free to contact them first if you have any questions. To book a motorhome, please click on the contact us page. Please complete the form & email to us. There will be a cancellation fee of 5% once the booking form is accepted.
Deposits
To secure the booking we require a non-returnable deposit of £100 for the first week and £50 each for any week after that. The deposit can be paid by cheque. The balance is due 21 days before the hire begins. On the day of collection there will be a returnable damage / loss deposit in cash to be paid (this amount varies per motorhome, average £300). This is returned in full upon the motorhome's safe return with no damage to the exterior/interior and it's contents.
Final payment
The full balance must be paid to the member and all the paperwork be in place 21 days before collection.
