Member 1509 is based in Halifax.

They have a 2010 Autocruise Accent 2/3 berth.
This is a luxury top of the range van conversion. Very easy to drive and manoeuvre.
It comprises top quality fixtures and fittings and can comfortably carry 2/3 people with seatbelts.

1536. Lake District, Cumbria - 2 + 2 berth

Member 1536 is based in Whitehaven, Lake district.

This is situated in the North of England (west of the M6) in the heart of the Lake District. They have a restored 2003 Classic bay window VW Brazil T2/Danbury Campervan, flame red.
It is a RHD, 1600cc fuel injection engine, stunning example (featured on the cover of June 2005 Volks World magazine).
It has low mileage from new. Alloy wheels, mildly lowered suspension, 1303 Beetle gearbox for relaxed cruising, stainless exhaust, full Webasto heating system, full length kitchen with 2 ring hob cooker, grill, fridge, storage (kettle/cutlery/plates etc.) and work top.
Steel sink, clean electric pumped water.
Radio/CD/ iPod connection.
First aid kit and fire extinguisher.
Wardrobe to hang your clothes, “rock and roll” seat has seat belts for two, and folds into a large double bed (storage below).
UK touring only, NO smoking inside the campervan.
Car can be left on driveway, or pick-up at local train/bus station can be arranged.
We are local to the Lake District so we know lots of beautiful areas, such as Wastwater "Britain’s favourite view".
So you can go where you want, at your own pace, and we can provide you with some suggested routes and must-see places.

Our motorhomes do get booked up very quickly.
To avoid disappointment, please place a deposit on your booking as soon as possible.

Weekly Breaks / Short Breaks / Weekend hires:

For weekly hire, the normal changeover is at the weekend, but please ask each member for availability if you require other days.
Weekend breaks are usually available with most of our members, but some may only offer short breaks out of the most popular seasons.

Insurance:

Each of our members will have their own arrangements for the insurance they are able to offer customers.
Please see each member's listing(s) for details.
For longer bookings (over 7 days) there may be a discount in the rates of insurance, which will vary dependant on the motorhome you are enquiring about. (Please ask for details if unsure).
However, there may be extra charges as listed below for:

Endorsements on your licence
Overseas Licence holder
Drivers aged 21 - 25
Drivers aged 70 - 75
Additional drivers, (maximum 3)
European touring

Please note:
You can drive most motorhomes on a normal car licence.

BUT...

If you have passed your test on or after 1st January 1997 your licence will need to show C1 entitlement to drive motorhomes over 3.5 tonnes. (For the vast majority of 2-3 berth motorhomes this will NOT apply).
However if you passed your test prior to this date you should already have C1 entitlement on your normal licence.
If in doubt, please check your licence.
